  அனைத்தையும் விட்டு விலகித் துறவு எனும் தவ நிலையில் மேன்மை நிலையை அடையும்போது, உடலில் உள்ள இரண்டு கண்கள், இரண்டு காதுகள், இரண்டு நாசிகள், வாய், கருவாய், எருவாய் ஆகிய ஒன்பது துளைகளாகிய கர்மங்களின் நுழைவாயில்களை ஆன்மா துறந்துவிடுகின்றது.

  When, standing apart from everything, the soul attains the high state in the tapas that is renunciation, it renounces the nine openings of the body, the two eyes, the two ears, the two nostrils, the mouth and the two lower openings, which are the gateways of karma's workings.

  இதுவரை, துன்பக் குழியில், ஆன்மா தனது கர்மங்களை அனுபவிக்கின்ற வாழ்க்கைச் சுழலிலேயே அகப்பட்டுக்கொண்டு இருந்தது.

  Until then the soul was caught in the pit of sorrow, in the round of a life spent undergoing its own karma.

  கர்மங்களைத் துறந்த பிறகு, சுழுமுனை நாடியின் வழியே குண்டலினி சக்தி மேல்நோக்கி ஏறிப் பார்க்கும்போது, ஆன்மாவை மூடியிருந்த திரை விலகி, அதனைக் காக்கின்றவனாகிய இறைவன் காணப்படுகின்றான்.

  After the workings of karma are renounced, when the kundalini power climbs upward along the sushumna channel and looks, the veil that covered the soul is drawn aside and the Lord who guards it is seen.

  சுழுமுனையின் உச்சித் துளைக்கு மேலே இருக்கின்ற சகஸ்ரதளத்தில் ஏறி, அங்கே கோயில் கொண்டு வீற்றிருந்து முக்தியை அளிக்கின்ற பேரொளியாகிய இறைவனை அடைகின்ற வழி அவருக்குக் கிடைத்தது.

  The way was given to him to climb to the sahasradala above the topmost opening of the sushumna and to reach the Lord who is the great light that keeps his temple there and grants liberation.
