  அனைத்தையும் விட்டு விலகி நிற்கின்ற துறவிகள் தாம் செல்லுகின்ற வழியில் மேன்மை நிலையை அடைந்த அந்தக் கணம் முதலே, ஆதியிலிருந்தே அனைத்திற்கும் தலைவனாக இருக்கின்ற இறைவனும் அங்கே இருக்கின்றான்.

  From the very moment the renouncers who stand apart from everything attain the high state upon the path they walk, the Lord who has been the head of all things from the beginning is there with them.

  இந்தத் துறவியே தான் என்று அவன் துறவியாகவே நின்றாலும், ஜீவாத்மா போன்ற எளியவன் அல்லன்; பரமாத்மாவாகவே இருக்கின்றான்.

  Though he stands as the renouncer himself, saying that he is this one, he is not a lowly one like an individual soul; he is the supreme self itself.

  அந்தப் பரமாத்மாவாகிய சிவனே தான் பல பல விதமான ஜீவாத்மாக்களாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

  That same Siva who is the supreme self is also the many, many individual souls.

  ஆனாலும், அவன் துறவிகளிடத்தில் விரும்பித் தாமே வருகின்ற வழிமுறையை நாம் அறிவது இல்லை.

  Even so, we do not know the way by which he comes of his own wish to the renouncers.
