  இறைவனுடைய திருவடிகளை எனது கண்களிலும் மனத்திற்கு உள்ளேயும் யான் வைத்துக்கொண்டேன்.

  I have set the Lord's sacred feet within my eyes and within my mind.

  உண்மையை மறைத்துப் பொய்யான ஆசைகளையே அதிகமாக்குகின்ற ஐந்து புலன்களின் வழியே மனம் போய்விடாமல் அத்திருவடிகள் காக்கும்.

  Those sacred feet keep the mind from going by way of the five senses, which hide what is true and swell false desires.

  ஆசைகள் அற்ற மேல் நிலைக்கு என்னை எடுத்துச் சென்று, பிறவிச் சுழலில் சுழன்றுகொண்டே இருப்பதற்குக் காரணமாகிய நன்மை தீமை ஆகிய இரண்டு விதமான வினைகளையும் அவை மாற்றிவிடும்.

  They carry me up to the higher state where desire is gone, and they change both kinds of deed, the good and the bad, which are the cause of endless turning in the round of births.

  உண்மையான பேரின்பத்தைக் கொடுக்கின்ற தேனாகவும், வேதங்களின் எல்லையாக இருக்கின்ற பரம்பொருளாகவும் உள்ள இறைவனை யான் அறிந்துகொண்டேன்.

  I have come to know the Lord, who is the honey that gives true supreme bliss and the supreme reality standing at the end of the Vedas.
