  இந்தப் பரந்து விரிந்து இருக்கின்ற உலகம் முழுவதிலும் உள்ள பொருள்களை முழுமையாக அறிந்து உணர்ந்துகொண்டேன்.

  I came to know and realize fully the things that are in all this wide and spreading world.

  அந்த அனைத்துப் பொருளுக்குள்ளும் சிறப்பாக விளங்குகின்ற உண்மைப் பொருளான இறைவனை உணர்ந்துகொண்டு, அந்த இறைவனை ஓதித் திருவருளையும் பெற்றுக்கொண்டேன்.

  Realizing God, the true substance that shines out excellently within all those things, I recited him and received his sacred grace as well.

  பிற மனிதர்களின் வாழ்க்கையைத் தன்னுடைய வாழ்க்கையோடு ஒப்பிட்டுப் பார்த்து நடக்கின்ற தன்மையை மறந்து ஒழித்துவிட்டேன்.

  I forgot and gave up the habit of measuring the lives of other people against my own life and living by that.

  அவர்களை விட்டுப் பிரிந்து, உலகப் பற்றுகளை எல்லாம் ஒழித்துவிட்டு, இந்தப் பிறவியையும் நீங்கிவிட்டேன்.

  Parting from them, I gave up every worldly attachment, and I have left this birth behind as well.
