  தாமே குருவாக இருக்கின்ற இறைவனின் மழை போன்ற அளவில்லாத தன்மையிலிருந்து, அடியவர் தமது பாத்திரம் போன்ற பக்குவத்திற்கு ஏற்ற தன்மைகளை அடையும் பொருட்டு, தமக்குள் சந்தித்த இறைவன் தனது அருளால் சிறப்பாக ஞானத்தை வைத்து அருளுகின்றான்.

  So that the devotee may take from the rainlike measureless nature of God, who is himself the guru, whatever suits the ripeness of his own vessel, the God met within him graciously and excellently places wisdom there.

  அந்த ஞானத்தின் மூலம், வழிகாட்டியும் தவறு செய்தால் தண்டிக்கும் தலைவனாகவும் குருவாகவும் இருக்கின்ற இறைவனே எமது தந்தை எனும் உண்மையை அறிந்துகொள்ளுகின்றவர்கள் யாரும் இல்லை.

  Through that wisdom the truth may be known, that God who stands as the lord who guides and who punishes when one goes wrong, and who stands as the guru, is our own father; yet there is no one at all who comes to know it.

  அவ்வாறு அறிந்துகொண்டவர்களுக்கு, வானத்திலிருந்து பொழியும் மழை போலக் குருவாக வீற்றிருந்து அனைவருக்கும் அருளுகின்ற இறைவனே என்றும் இந்த உலகத்திலும் இருக்கின்றான்.

  To those who do come to know it, God who is seated as the guru and gives grace to all, like rain falling from the sky, is present always and in this world too.

  இறைவனது உண்மை ஞானத்தை உணர்ந்த ஞானியாகிய ஒருவரின் பக்குவத்திற்கு ஏற்ற பாத்திரமாகி, தாமே குருவாக இருக்கின்ற இறைவனின் நிலையில் நின்று, அவர் அனைவருக்கும் நன்மை தரும் நெருப்பாகவும், தனக்குச் சரிசமமாக வேறு எதுவும் இல்லாத தனிப்பெரும் சுடர் ஒளியாகவும் இருக்கின்றார்.

  Becoming a vessel fitted to the ripeness of one who has realized God's true wisdom, and standing in the state of God who is himself the guru, such a one is the fire that brings good to all, and the single great flame of light beside which there is nothing equal.
