  அடியவர் உலகப் பற்றுகளின் மேல் வைத்திருக்கும் பல விதமான பந்த பாசங்களை ஒன்றாகக் கூட்டி, ஒரு கட்டாகக் கட்டி வைத்து, அதை அடியவரிடமிருந்து பறித்து வெளியில் எறிந்துவிடுகின்றான்.

  He gathers into one the many bonds and attachments the devotee holds upon the things of the world, ties them into a single bundle, snatches it from him and casts it out.

  இதுவரை என்னுடையது என்று அடியவர் தனது உடலின் மீது கொண்டிருந்த ஆசையை விடுவித்து, இறைவனுக்கு நேரானதாகவும் சரிசமமாகவும் இருக்கின்ற நிலையை அடியவருக்குத் தருகின்றான்.

  He releases the desire the devotee had held until then for his own body, calling it mine, and gives him a state that is level and equal with God.

  ஒரு பழியும் இல்லாத அந்த முக்தியில் அடியவரைச் சேர்த்து அருளுவதால், இந்த உலகத்தில் அவர் இருக்கும்போதே அது நிகழ்கின்றது.

  Because he joins the devotee to that liberation which carries not one reproach, it happens while the devotee is still in this world.

  ஆகவே, ஒரு குற்றமும் இல்லாத உண்மையான குருவாக அந்தப் பரம்பொருளே வந்து வழிகாட்டி அருளுகின்றான்.

  So that supreme being itself comes as the true guru in whom there is not one fault, and guides him.
