உரைmeaning
முந்தைய பாடலில் கூறியபடி பிறவி எனும் துன்பத்தில் இருந்து அழுகின்றவர்களும், மனித இனத்திற்கான ஒழுக்கங்கள் கெட்டவர்களும், செய்வதற்கு அரியதான தவங்களைச் செய்வதையே குறிக்கோளாக மேற்கொண்டு, அந்தத் தவங்களைச் செய்யும்போதும் தலைவனாகவும் அடியவனாகவும் இருக்கின்ற இறைவனை எண்ணிக்கொண்டே இருந்தால், அவர்களின் துன்பம் நீங்கி இனி எப்போதும் வருந்தாமல் இருப்பதற்கான வழிமுறையைச் செய்து கொடுத்து, வானவர்களின் அரசனாகியவனும் பிறப்பு இல்லாதவனுமாகிய இறைவன் மாபெரும் கருணையோடு அருளுவான்.
As the preceding verse said, those who weep in the suffering that is birth, and those in whom the conduct proper to human beings has been ruined, if they take as their very goal the performing of austerities that are hard to perform, and, even while performing those austerities, keep on thinking of God who is at once master and servant, then God, who is king of the celestials and who is himself without birth, will make for them the way by which their suffering departs and they never grieve again, and will grant it to them with great compassion.
