  இறைவனை அடைகின்ற வழிமுறையை அறிந்துகொள்வதும், அதன் மூலம் தமக்கு உள்ளே நிற்கின்ற ஜோதியாகிய இறைவனை

  Coming to know the discipline by which God is reached, and through it God, the radiance that stands within oneself,

  பெறுகின்ற வழிமுறையை அறிந்துகொண்டால், குழப்பம் என்று ஒன்றும் இல்லாமல் போய்விடும்.

  if one comes to know the discipline by which he is obtained, then there will be nothing left that is confusion.

  அப்போது, இறைவனை அடைவதற்குத் தடையாக இருக்கின்ற அனைத்தையும் அறுக்கின்ற வழியாக அதுவே ஆகிவிடும்.

  That very discipline then becomes the way that severs everything which stands as an obstacle to reaching God.

  இதனைக் கடைப்பிடித்து, நன்மை செய்கின்ற ஜோதியாக உள்ளே இருக்கின்ற இறைவனை அடைந்து, தான் எனும் அகங்காரத்தை நீக்குகின்ற வழிமுறையை அறியாதவர்கள், மாயையில் சிக்கிக்கொண்டு இறைவனின் அருளைப் பெறாத ஏழைகளாகவே இருக்கின்றார்கள்.

  Those who do not follow this, and who do not know the discipline by which one reaches God, the radiance within that does good, and removes the self-regard that says "I", remain caught in illusion as the poor who have not received God's grace.
