  மாபெரும் தவங்களைச் செய்தவர்கள் அனைவரும், தாம் தமக்குள் உணர்ந்த இறைவனை, மாபெரும் தேவர்களுக்கெல்லாம் தலைவன் என்று கூறுவார்கள்.

  All those who have performed the great austerities will call the God they have realized within themselves the lord of all the great celestials.

  அந்த இறைவனைச் சாதகர்கள் தமக்குள் நாத வடிவமாக ஆகி அறியப்படுகின்ற நந்தி எனும் பெயரால் குருநாதனாக இருந்து வழிகாட்டும்போது,

  When that God guides them as the guru-lord, under the name Nandi, in which he is known by practitioners within themselves as having become the form of sound,

  அவனை வேறு யாராகவும் பிரித்து எண்ணிப் பார்க்காமல், எமது தலைவன் இவனே என்று எண்ணிக்கொண்டு, தம்மால் இயன்ற வழியில் அவனை அடைவதற்கு முயற்சி செய்தால்,

  then if they do not think of him apart as anyone else, but hold the thought that this alone is our lord and strive in whatever way they are able to reach him,

  ஆதிப் பரம்பொருளாக இருக்கின்ற அந்த இறைவனும் தாங்கள் முயன்ற அந்த வழியாகவே ஆகி நிற்கின்றான்.

  that God who is the primal Supreme himself becomes the very way they strove along, and stands in it.
