  நிலையான மனம் இல்லாதவர்களுக்குத் தூரத்தில் இருந்து அருளுபவனும், நிலையான மனம் உடையவர்களுக்கு அருகிலே இருப்பவனும், இந்த இரு நிலையில் இருப்பவர்களின் மேலும் பற்று இல்லாதவனும், பெயரில் நந்தி என்று அழைக்கப்படும் இறையே குரு என்ற நிலையில் இருப்பவனும்,

  He who gives his grace from afar to those whose mind is not steady, he who is close at hand to those whose mind is steady, he who holds no attachment towards those in either of these two states, and the God who is called Nandi by name and who stands in the state of the guru,

  தூய்மையானவனும் ஆகிய இறைவனை, அசைவு இல்லாத மனத்துடன் தமக்குள்ளேயே பார்க்க முடிந்தவர்களுக்கு அவ்வாறெல்லாம் இருக்கின்றான் இறைவன்.

  and he who is pure: to those who are able to see him within themselves with an unwavering mind, God is all of this.

  அவ்வாறு பார்க்க முடியாமல் இருக்கின்ற மனிதர்களாகிய மற்றவர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் அவன் மாயனாகவே இருந்து மாயையில் மயக்கி வைத்திருக்கின்றான்.

  But to all the others, the people who are not able to see him so, he remains the one of illusion and holds them bewildered in illusion.

  அதனால் அவர்கள் அனைவரும் தம்முடைய உடலின் மேல் இருக்கின்ற பற்றைக் குறைத்து, உடலுக்குள் இருக்கின்ற ஆன்மாவை அறிந்துகொள்ளுகின்ற முறையை அறியாமல் இருக்கின்றார்கள்.

  And so all of them remain without knowing the way to lessen the attachment they hold towards their own body and to come to know the soul that is within it.
