  சிவப் பரம்பொருளைச் சரணடைவதே முக்திக்கான வழியாகும்.

  To surrender to the Siva-Supreme is itself the way to liberation.

  சரணாகதியைத் தவிர வேறு விதமாக இருக்கின்ற வழிமுறைகள் அனைத்தும், உலக வாழ்க்கைக்கான வழியாக, பாசத் தளைகளுடன் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் பிறவி எடுப்பதற்காகவே இருக்கின்ற வழிமுறைகளாகும்.

  All the ways that stand otherwise than surrender are ways for worldly life, ways that exist only for taking birth again and again with the fetters of attachment.

  சரணாகதியாகத் தவம் செய்கின்ற வழிமுறையைச் சாதகர்கள் முக்திக்கு நேரான ஒரே வழிமுறையாக எடுத்துக்கொண்டு செய்யாமல் போனால்,

  If practitioners do not take up the way of performing austerity as surrender, as the one way that goes straight to liberation, and do not walk it,

  துன்பமான பிறவிகளுக்கே வழியாக இருக்கின்ற மூன்று விதமான மலங்களும், துன்பமான பிறவி எடுப்பதற்கான வழிமுறைகளாகவே இருக்கும்.

  then the three kinds of impurity, which are themselves the way to sorrowful births, will remain as the ways by which sorrowful birth is taken.
