உரைmeaning
உயிர்களின் உள்ளத்திற்கு உள்ளே தானாகவே விரும்பி வீற்றிருக்கின்றவனும், அண்ட சராசரங்கள் எங்கும் நிறைந்து நிற்கின்றவனும், உயிர்களுக்குத் தேவையான அனைத்தையும் அருளுகின்ற வள்ளலும், அனைத்திற்கும் தலைவனும், உயிர்களின் நெஞ்சத் தாமரை மலரின் மேல் வீற்றிருக்கின்ற மாபெரும் தவத்தை உடையவனும், துவாரங்களைக் கொண்ட உடலுக்குள் கருவிலேயே புகுந்திருப்பவனும், அந்த உடலின் ஆயுள் முடியும்போது வெளியேறிச் செல்பவனும், இவை அனைத்தையும் மறைந்திருந்தே செய்கின்ற தலைவனும் ஆகிய இறைவனை அறிந்துகொள்ளும் முறையை, ஆசைகளுக்காகப் புற வழிபாடு செய்கின்றவர்கள் அறியாமல் இருக்கின்றார்கள்.
He who dwells of his own gladness within the heart of every living being; he who stands filling all the worlds and everything that moves and does not move; the generous one who grants living beings everything they need; the lord of all; the one of vast austerity who is seated upon the lotus of the heart of living beings; he who has entered the body full of openings from the womb itself; he who goes out of it when the span of that body is done; and the lord who does all of this while remaining hidden: this is God, and those who perform outward worship for the sake of their desires do not know the way to come to know him.
