  நல்ல சுவையோடு இனிமையான தண்ணீரானது எந்தத் திசையில் இருக்கின்றது என்பதைச் சிந்தித்துப் பார்த்தால்,

  If one considers in which direction the water that is sweet and good to taste lies,

• வரி 2Line 2

  மேலிருந்து வருகின்ற ஆற்றுத் தண்ணீராகவே, அதை அறிந்தவர்களுக்கு நல்ல நீராக அதுவே நிற்கும்.

  then for those who know it, that water stands as good water, as the very river water that comes down from above.

  அப்படிச் சேர்ந்து இருக்கின்ற ஆற்றுத் தண்ணீரைக் கிணற்றில் சேமித்து வைக்கும் முறை அறிந்தவர்களுக்கு,

  And for those who know how to store in a well the river water that gathers so,

  ஓடுகின்ற அந்த ஆற்றுத் தண்ணீரினால் பயிர்களுக்கு நீர்ப்பாசனம் செய்து விவசாய நிலத்தில் பயிர்களை வளர்க்கும் முறை அதுவாகும்.

  that is the way in which the flowing river water irrigates the crops and raises them in the farmed land.
