  அனைத்திற்கும் எஜமானனாகிய இறைவனை, அடியவர்களாகிய வானவர்கள் ஆயிரம் விதமான பெயர்களைச் சொல்லிப் போற்றி,

  The celestial ones, who are his servants, praise the God who is master of all by uttering a thousand kinds of names for him,

  தமது எண்ணத்திற்குள் வைத்து நினைந்து, உள்ளம் மகிழ்ந்து, தமக்குள் நிற்கின்ற அவனுடைய திருவடியைத் தொழுவார்கள்.

  hold him within their thoughts and dwell on him, rejoice in their hearts, and worship the sacred foot of his that stands within them.

  தமது கண்ணுக்குக் கண்ணாக இருப்பவன் அவனே என்று எண்ணுகின்ற அவர்களுக்கு உள்ளே இருந்து,

  To those who hold that he alone is the eye of their eye, dwelling inside them,

  இலயிக்கின்ற இசையைப் போல அந்த இறைவன் மாபெரும் அன்பு காட்டி, அவர்களை அரவணைத்து நிற்கின்றான்.

  that God, like music that absorbs the listener, shows immense love and stands holding them close.
