  அதுவும் இதுவும் ஆதியாக இருக்கின்ற பரம்பொருள் என்று நினைத்துக்கொண்டு, பரந்து விரிந்து இருக்கின்ற இந்த உலகில்,

  Holding that this and that alike are the primal supreme being, in this wide and spreading world,

  இதுவே இறைவனை அடையும் வழி என்று எடுத்துக்கொண்டு அதன் மூலம் இறைவனை அடைய முயற்சி செய்கின்றவர்கள் யாரும் இல்லை.

  there is no one at all who takes up some way as the way to reach God and by that means strives to reach him.

  அப்படி இல்லாமல், தங்களுக்கு விதிக்கப்பட்ட வழியில் சென்று, தமக்குள் மறைந்திருந்து தம்மை ஆளுகின்ற இறைவனை அடியவராகத் தேடி அடைகின்ற,

  Instead, going along the way appointed to them and seeking out, as his servant, the God who stands hidden within them and rules them:

  அந்த வழிமுறையையே விதி என்று கடைபிடிக்கின்றவர்களின் மனதில் இருந்து ஆசைகளை அழித்து அவர்களை இறைவனிடம் சேர்க்கின்ற வழிமுறை இதுவே ஆகும்.

  this very discipline, kept as their appointed way, is the discipline that destroys the desires in the minds of those who keep it and joins them to God.
