  இறைவனை உண்மையான தந்தையாகப் பாவித்து, அவருக்குப் பூஜை செய்தல், மந்திரங்களைப் பாடுதல், போற்றி வணங்குதல், தரிசனம் செய்தல்,

  Taking God as one's true father, performing worship for him, singing sacred mantras, praising and revering him, and beholding him,

  குற்றமில்லாத நன்மையான தவத்தை மேற்கொள்ளுதல், உண்மையே பேசுதல், அழுக்கு இல்லாமல் சுற்றுப்புறத்தையும் தம்மையும் சுத்தமாக வைத்தல்,

  undertaking blameless and beneficial austerity, speaking only truth, and keeping both one's surroundings and oneself clean and free of impurity,

  அன்போடு சமைத்து வைத்த உணவை நைவேத்யமாகப் படைத்தல், நீரினால் சுத்தம் செய்து சமர்ப்பணம் செய்தல்,

  lovingly offering cooked food as a devotional offering, and purifying and consecrating it with water,

  ஆகிய இவை அனைத்தையும் தாம் செய்கின்றோம் என்கின்ற எண்ணமே இல்லாமல் இருந்து செய்வதே, இறைவனின் பிள்ளையாகத் தன்னைப் பாவித்து அவனை அடைகின்ற வழிமுறை ஆகும்.

  doing all of these while wholly without the thought that "I am the one doing this": this is the discipline of taking oneself as God's child and reaching him.
