பாடல் #1457-இல் உள்ளபடி அசையாத மனதுடன் செய்யாமல், அலைகின்ற மனதுடன் செய்யப்படும் எழுதப்பட்ட எழுத்துக்களும், அவற்றோடு சேர்ந்து பாடும் பாடல்களும், இவற்றைக் கொண்டிருக்கும் அறுபத்து நான்கு கலைகளும் ஆகியவற்றால், இறைவனை அடையாமல் வாழ்க்கையை வீணடிக்கும் பழிக்குத் தலைமையாக இருக்கும் பாசத்தையும் அதனால் எடுக்கும் பிறவிகளையும் ஒருவரால் நீக்க முடியாது. பாசத்தையும் பிறவியையும் நீக்கும் வழிக்குத் தலைமையாக இருக்கும் சந்திர கலையோடு அக்கினி கலையையும் சூரிய கலையையும் சேர்த்துப் பயன்படுத்தும் வழிமுறைக்குத் தலைமையாக இருக்கும் யோகத்தை அசையாத மனதுடன் செய்யும் வகையைத் தாம் செய்த யோகத்தால் உணர்ந்ததாக இப்பாடல் கூறுகிறது.
As in verse 1457, letters written and songs sung along with them, and the sixty-four arts that hold them, done not with an unmoving mind but with a wandering one, cannot by themselves remove the bond that is chief among the faults that waste a life without reaching God, nor the births that bond brings. This verse declares that, through the yoga one has practiced, one has come to know the way of practicing, with an unmoving mind, the yoga that stands chief over the method that joins and uses the lunar strand together with the fire strand and the solar strand, the method that stands chief over the path that removes both the bond and its births.
