முக்திக்கான ஞானத்தைப் பெற்றுவிட்டோம் என்று சொல்பவர்கள், தமக்குள்ளேயே இருக்கும் பரம்பொருளைக் கண்டு உணராமல் இருக்கிறார்கள். நறுமணம் மலருக்குள் மறைந்திருப்பது போல ஜீவாத்மாவிற்குள் மறைந்திருக்கும் குருநாதனாகிய இறைவனைச் சிந்தை முழுவதும் அவன் மேல் வைத்து யோகம் செய்து, தமக்குள் அவனை அறிந்து தெளிவு பெற்று, அதன் பயனால் மும்மலங்களாகிய இருளை நீக்கினால், முதன்முதலில் இறைவனிடமிருந்து பிரிந்து வந்து பிறவி எடுப்பதற்கு மூலகாரணமாக இருக்கும் ஆசைகள் நீங்கிப் பெற்று, இனிப் பிறவியே இல்லாத நிலையை அடையலாம்.
Those who say they have already attained the wisdom needed for liberation are, without knowing it, failing to see and realize the supreme reality that lies within them. Just as fragrance lies hidden within a flower, the guru who is God lies hidden within the individual soul. If one fixes the mind wholly upon him, practices yoga, comes to know and grow clear about him within, and thereby removes the darkness of the three impurities, then the desires that were the root cause of one's first parting from God and taking birth are removed, and one may attain the state where birth comes no more.
