பாடல் #1454-இல் உள்ளபடி பக்தியின் முறையைக் கடைபிடிக்கும் பக்தன், கிரியையையும் சரியையையும் முறைப்படி கற்று, அதைக் கடைபிடிப்பதையே குறிக்கோளாகக் கொண்டு செய்யும்போது, இறைவனின் தூய்மையான அருளால் யோகம் கிடைக்கப்பெறும். அவ்வாறு தமக்குக் கிடைத்த மேன்மையான யோக வழியைக் குறிக்கோளாகக் கொண்டு குற்றமின்றிச் செய்யும்போது, அதன் பயனால் தமக்குள் உண்மை ஞானத்தை உணரலாம். அவ்வாறு உணர்ந்த உண்மை ஞானத்தின் வழியாகச் சித்தம் தெளிவு பெற்று, குருவாக இருக்கும் இறைவனின் அருளால் அவரது சித்தம் சிவமாகவே ஆகிவிடும்.
As in verse 1454, when a devotee who follows the manner of devotion learns kiriyai and sariyai properly and practices them as his very goal, he attains yoga through God's pure grace. When he then practices, without any fault, the noble path of yoga he has thus attained, taking it as his goal, he may through it come to realize true wisdom within himself. Through the true wisdom so realized, his mind gains clarity, and by the grace of God, who is the guru, his very mind becomes Siva itself.
