சமயம் சொல்கின்ற முறைப்படி அமைக்கப்பட்ட பலவிதமான கோயில்களுக்குச் சென்று அவற்றைச் சுற்றி வந்தால், தன்னுடைய முயற்சியால் எல்லாச் செயல்களும் நடக்கின்றன என்ற எண்ணம் நீங்கி, அனைத்தும் இறைவனாலேயே நடக்கின்றது என்ற எண்ணம் வந்துவிடும். அதன்பிறகு அந்தக் கோயில்களில் அமைந்திருக்கும் சிறப்பானதும் பாதுகாக்கக் கூடியதுமான மந்திர உச்சாடனங்கள் தம்மைத் தூய்மைப்படுத்திவிடும். அதன் பயனால் சமயம் என்று சொல்லப்படும் எந்த விதிமுறைகளும் அதைச் சார்ந்த எண்ணங்களும் நீங்கும்படி அறிவைச் சுத்தம் செய்துவிடும். அதன்பிறகு தம்முடைய சுத்தமான அறிவில் இறைவனை நிலைபெறச் செய்து, இறையருளால் பெற்ற ஞானத்தின் வழியில் தாம் செய்யும் அனைத்தையும் இறைவனுக்கு அர்ப்பணிக்கிறார்.
Going to the many kinds of temples built in the manner that religion prescribes and circumambulating them removes the thought that all actions happen through one's own effort, and brings the thought that everything happens through God alone. After that, the special and protective mantra recitations set within those temples purify the person. Through this, whatever rules are called that religion's own, and the thoughts bound to them, are removed, and the intellect is purified. After that, God is made to abide within one's purified intellect, and along the path of the wisdom gained through his grace, one offers up everything one does to God.
