  இறைவனை அடைவதற்கான சரியை, கிரியை, யோகம், ஞானம் ஆகிய நான்கு வழிமுறைகளுக்கும், அவற்றைச் செய்வதற்குத் தேவையான நான்கு வகை ஞானங்களுக்கும்,

  For the four methods, sariyai, kiriyai, yoga and jnana, and the four kinds of wisdom needed to practice them,

  அந்த ஞானங்களின் விரிவாக இருக்கும், வேதத்தின் எல்லையாக இருக்கும் ஆறு வழிமுறைகளுக்கும், சித்தாந்தத்தின் எல்லையாக இருக்கும் ஆறு வழிமுறைகளுக்கும்,

  and the six-fold boundary of the Veda and of Siddhanta into which those forms of wisdom expand,

  உண்மைப் பொருளாக இருக்கும் குருநாதனாகிய இறைவன் தான் வீற்றிருக்கும் பொன்னகருக்கு வந்து,

  God, their true meaning as guru, comes forth into the golden city,

  தம்மை அடையும் வழிமுறைகளை அறியாமல் மாயையில் சிக்கிச் சுழன்றுகொண்டிருக்கும் மனிதர்களைத் தம்மை வணங்கும்படி செய்து, அவர்களை ஆட்கொள்கிறான்.

  and makes people caught spinning in maya worship him, and so takes them as his own.
