  பரந்து விரிந்திருக்கின்ற வானத்தில் எவ்வளவுதான் உயரே மேகங்கள் சென்றாலும், அவை விண்ணுலகத்தைச் சென்றடைவதில்லை.

  However high the clouds go in the wide, spreading sky, they never reach and arrive at the world of the heavens.

  பல விதமான காட்சிகளைக் கண்டாலும், அந்தக் காட்சிகள் கண்களில் வந்து ஒட்டிக்கொள்வதில்லை.

  Even when the eye beholds many kinds of sights, those sights do not come and cling to the eyes.

  அது போலவே, உலகத்தில் அறிந்தவற்றையே எண்ணிக்கொண்டிருக்கின்ற எண்ணங்களால், உண்மை ஞானமாக இருக்கின்ற இறைவனைச் சென்றடைய முடியாதபடி பாசமானது ஆன்மாவைத் தடுத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றது.

  In the same way, bondage holds the soul back so that it cannot reach and arrive at God, who is true knowledge, through thoughts that merely dwell on what is already known in this world.

  ஆகவே, இறைவனை அடைய வேண்டுமென்றால், மார்க்க சைவத்தின் வழியைக் கடைப்பிடித்து, அதன் பயனால் பாசத்தளை நீங்கி, உண்மை ஞானமாக இருக்கின்ற இறைவனை அடையலாம்.

  Therefore, if one wishes to reach God, one may hold to the path of Marga Saivam, and, by its fruit, be freed from the bond of bondage and reach God, who is true knowledge.
