  வேதத்திற்கு எல்லையாக இருக்கின்ற பரம்பொருளைக் கண்டு அறிந்துகொண்டவர்கள், மிகவும் உன்னதமான நிலையில் மெய் ஞானம் உலக ஞானம் ஆகிய அனைத்தையும் கற்று அறிந்தவர்கள் ஆவார்கள்.

  Those who have beheld and known the Supreme, who is the limit of the Vedas, become, at a most exalted level, ones who have learned and known all of true wisdom and worldly wisdom together.

  நாதத்திற்கு எல்லையாக இருக்கின்ற பரம்பொருளைக் கண்டு அறிந்துகொண்டவர்கள், சித்தத்தில் நடுக்கம் சிறிதும் இல்லாமல் எப்போதும் இறைவனையே சிந்தித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும் யோகிகள் ஆவார்கள்.

  Those who have beheld and known the Supreme, who is the limit of nadam, become yogis, ever thinking only of God, without the slightest tremor in their mind.

  இப்படி இல்லாமல், வேதத்திற்கு எல்லையாக இருக்கின்ற பரம்பொருளை அறிந்துகொள்ளாத,

  But those who have not so beheld the Supreme who is the limit of the Vedas,

  வெறும் உலக அறிவுக்கு எல்லையைக் கண்டிருக்கின்ற சைவர்கள், சாதாரணம் என்று சொல்லப்படும் பொதுவான சைவர்களின் வழியையே கடைப்பிடிக்கின்றவர்கள் ஆவார்கள்.

  and who have found the limit only of mere worldly knowledge, become Saivas who follow only the common way of what is called ordinary Saivism.
