பாடல் #1427 இல் உள்ளபடி கருவிகளின் மூலம் சாதகம் செய்து தீயவற்றை அறுக்கின்ற ஞானியாகிய சாதகர், கிளர்ந்து எழுகின்ற ஞானத்திற்கு அதிபதியாகவும், பாசமாகிய துன்பங்களை அறுக்கின்ற வேதங்களுக்கு எல்லையாகவும் சித்தங்களுக்கு எல்லையாகவும் இருக்கின்ற இறைவனின் திருவடிகளைத் தம்மை நாடி வரும் அடியவர்களின் மனத்திற்குள் புகுத்தி ஞானத்தை உருவாக்குகின்ற நுட்பமான முக்தி நிலையில் இருப்பவராகவும், பாசமாகிய துன்பத்தை அனுபவித்தாலும் அதனால் சிறிதும் பாதிக்கப்படாமல் சுத்தமான சைவ நெறிமுறையைக் கடைப்பிடித்து எப்போதும் பக்தியிலேயே நிலைத்து நிற்பவராகவும் இருப்பார்.
As in verse 1427, the practitioner who is a sage, who through those instruments performs sadhana and cuts away evil things, becomes lord of the wisdom that rises within him; becomes one standing in the subtle state of liberation, giving rise to wisdom by instilling the sacred feet of God, who is the limit of the Vedas that sever the sorrows of bondage and the limit of thought, into the minds of devotees who seek him; and, even while undergoing the sorrow that is bondage, remains wholly unaffected by it, holds fast to the pure Saiva discipline, and stands ever fixed in devotion.
