  இறைவனது அம்சமாக இருக்கின்ற மணிகளைத் (உருத்திராட்சம், துளசிமணி, ஸ்படிகம் போன்றவற்றைத்) தங்கத்தால் கோர்த்துச் செய்து அணிந்துகொண்டும், இறையருளுக்குக் கருவியாக இருக்கின்ற நறுமணப் பொருள்களைப் (விபூதி, குங்குமம், சந்தனம், செந்தூரம், நாமம் போன்றவற்றைப்) பூசிக்கொண்டும்,

  Stringing in gold the beads that are God's own portion, such as rudraksha, tulasi beads and crystal, and anointing with the fragrant substances that are the instruments of divine grace, such as vibhuti, kumkumam, sandalwood paste, sindhuram and holy ash marks,

  இவற்றைக் கருவியாகக் கொண்டு பூஜை எனும் சாதகத்தைச் செய்கின்ற வழிமுறையானது நன்மையைக் கொடுக்கும் வழிமுறையாகும். இதற்குக் கருவியாக இருக்கின்ற மணிகளும் பூசிக்கொள்ளும் நறுமணப் பொருட்களும் பலவிதமான நலங்களை அறிந்துகொள்ளுகின்ற ஞானத்தைக் கொடுக்கின்ற கருவியாகவும் இருக்கின்றன.

  and, taking these as instruments, performing the sadhana called puja, is a method that confers good. The beads and the fragrant substances that serve as instruments for this are also instruments that give the wisdom to know manifold benefits.

  தீமையைக் கொடுக்கும் வழிமுறைக்கான கருவி எதுவும் நன்மையின் நெறி வழியே செல்லுகின்ற சாதகருக்குத் தடையாக உருவாகாமல் இருக்கவும் இந்தக் கருவிகள் உதவுகின்றன.

  These instruments also help so that no instrument for a method leading to harm arises as an obstacle for a practitioner going along the path of good.

  All of these are instruments that help the Suddha Saivas who practice sadhana following the path of truth in order to reach God.
