சத்து மசத்துஞ் சதசத்துந் தான்கண்டுஞ்சித்து மசித்தையுஞ் சேர்வுறாமே நீத்துஞ்சுத்த மசுத்தமுந் தோய்வுறாமே நின்றுநித்தம் பரசுத்த சைவர்க்கு நேயமே.
உரைmeaning
நிலையானதாகிய சிவமும், நிலையில்லாததாகிய உடலும், அந்த நிலையில்லாத உடலுக்குள் நிலையாக நிற்கின்ற ஆன்மாவும் ஆகிய இம்மூன்றையும் கண்டு உணர்ந்தும், உலக அறிவும் அறியாமையும் ஒன்றாகச் சேர்ந்து விடாமல் அவற்றிலிருந்து விலகி இருந்தும், சுத்த மாயை அசுத்த மாயை ஆகிய இரண்டிலும் மயங்கி விடாமல் உண்மை ஞானத்திலேயே நின்றும், எப்போதும் பரம்பொருளாகிய இறைவனின் அதி சுத்த நிலையில் இருப்பதே சைவர்களின் பேரன்பு ஆகும்.
Seeing and knowing these three, the permanent that is Sivam, the impermanent that is the body, and the soul that stands permanent within that impermanent body, staying apart from worldly knowledge and ignorance without letting them merge as one, standing firm in true knowledge without being deluded by either pure illusion or impure illusion, and abiding always in the utterly pure state of God, who is the Supreme, is itself the great love of the Saivas.
