  ஆறெழுத்து மந்திரமே இறைவனை அடையும் ஆறுவகைச் சமயங்களின் விரிவாகும்.

  The six-letter mantra is itself the fuller form of the six paths by which one attains God.

  ஆறை நான்கால் பெருக்கினால் வரும் இருபத்துநான்கு என்பது, சாவித்திரி மந்திரத்திலுள்ள, புள்ளி வைத்த மூன்று எழுத்துக்கள் தவிர்த்த, இருபத்துநான்கு எழுத்துக்களை நான்கு முறை செபிப்பது இந்த ஆறெழுத்து மந்திரத்தை ஒருமுறை செபிப்பதற்குச் சமமாகும் என்பதைக் காட்டும்.

  The twenty-four that comes from multiplying six by four shows that reciting, four times, the twenty-four letters of the Savitri mantra (excluding its three dotted letters), equals reciting this six-letter mantra once.

  சாவித்திரி மந்திரத்திலுள்ள தலையெழுத்தான ஒரு மூல மந்திரத்தையும்,

  This verse declares that those able to distinguish and know separately the single head-letter root-mantra within the Savitri mantra,

  சாவித்திரி மந்திரத்தையும் பிரித்தறிய வல்லவர்கள் பிறவி இல்லாத நிலையை அடைவார்கள் என்று இப்பாடல் கூறுகிறது.

  and the Savitri mantra itself, will attain the state without further birth.
