  "நமசிவாய", "சிவாயநம" ஆகிய இரு மந்திரங்களுமே உயிர்கள் சிவமாவதற்குரிய மந்திரமாகும்.

  Both mantras, "Namasivaya" and "Sivayanama", are the mantra proper for souls to become Siva.

  நிலைபெற்ற இந்த ஐந்தெழுத்துக்கள், இறைவனின் திருவடிப்பேற்றைத் தரும் மெய்யுணர்வாகும்.

  These five letters, firmly established, are the true realization that grants the attainment of God's sacred feet.

  இந்த மெய்யுணர்வு பெற்று, சிவத்துடன் சேர்ந்த ஐந்தெழுத்தின் உண்மையால் பேரன்பு பூண்டவர்கள்,

  This verse declares that those who gain this true realization, and who, through the truth of the five letters joined with Siva, bear great love,

  தானும் அவனும் வேறில்லை என்னும் ஞானத் தெளிவு பெற்று, தாமே சிவமாகத் திகழ்வார்கள் என்று இப்பாடல் கூறுகிறது.
