  உடலாகிய காட்டிற்குள் ஐந்து புலன்களாகிய யானைகள் வாழ்கின்றன.

  Within the forest that is the body, five elephants that are the senses dwell.

  அந்த ஐந்தையும் அடக்கும் அங்குசமாக இருப்பது ஐந்தெழுத்து மந்திரமாகும்.

  What serves as the goad to restrain these five is the five-letter mantra.

  ஐந்து யானைகளையும் ஒருங்கே அடக்க வல்லவர்கள்,

  For those able to restrain all five elephants together,
