  நகாரமும் மகாரமும் அமைந்து, நடுவே சிகாரத்தைக் கொண்டிருக்கும் மந்திரத்தை,

  The mantra holding the letters na (ந), ma (ம) and, at its centre, si (சி),

• வரி 2Line 2

  அதன் இரு வகாரங்களுடன் சேர்த்து,

  together with its letters va (வ),

• வரி 3Line 3

  முன்பாக ஒகாரத்தை, அதாவது "ஓம்" எழுத்தை, இட்டு ஒருமுறை உரைத்தால்,

  if recited, prefixed with the letter o (ஒ), that is Om (ஓம்),

• வரி 4Line 4

  இறைவன் சாதகரின் மனதிற்குள் எழுந்தருளுவான் என்று இப்பாடல் கூறுகிறது.
