உரைmeaning
ஓங்கார மந்திரத்தில் அகாரம் எனும் எழுத்து உயிர்களாகவும், உகாரம் எனும் எழுத்து பரம்பொருளாகவும், மகாரம் எனும் எழுத்து மலமாகவும் இருக்கின்றது. இம்மூன்று எழுத்துக்களும் சேர்ந்த 'ஓம்' எழுத்திற்குள் 'சிவய' மந்திரமும் அடங்கியுள்ளது. அந்த 'சிவய' மந்திரத்தில் சிகாரம் சிவமாகவும், வகாரம் வடிவமாகவும், யகாரம் உயிராகவும் இருக்கின்றது.
In the Omkara mantra, the letter a (அ) is the souls, the letter u (உ) is the Supreme, and the letter ma (ம) is the impurity. Within the letter Om (ஓம்) formed by joining these three letters, the mantra 'sivaya' too is contained. In that mantra 'sivaya', the letter si (சி) is Siva, the letter va (வ) is form, and the letter ya (ய) is the soul.
