அனைத்து எழுத்துக்களுக்கும் வேராக இருக்கும் எழுத்தாகவும், வானமாகவும் அதைத் தாண்டி இருக்கும் அண்ட சராசரங்களாகவும், நீரைக் குறிக்கும் எழுத்தாகவும், நிலத்தைத் தாங்கி நிற்கும் எழுத்தாகவும், நெருப்பைக் குறிக்கும் எழுத்தாகவும், உயிர்க்காற்றைக் குறிக்கும் எழுத்தாகவும், இப்படி ஐம்பூதங்களிலும் ஐந்தெழுத்து மந்திர வடிவாக இருக்கும் இறைவனே, ஓர் எழுத்தின் வடிவில் பேரொளிப் பிழம்பாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.
As the letter that stands as the root of all letters, as the sky and the universe beyond it, as the letter that signifies water, as the letter that supports and stands in the earth, as the letter that signifies fire, and as the letter that signifies the vital breath, existing thus as a five-syllable mantra within the five elements, God himself also exists, in the form of a single letter, as a great flame of light.
