  அகார உகார சிகார நடுவாய் என்பது, 'அ' 'உ' எழுத்துக்கள் அடங்கியிருக்கும் 'ஓம்' எழுத்தோடு, நடுவில் 'சி' நிற்கும் 'நமசிவய' எழுத்தையும் சேர்த்து 'ஓம் நமசிவய' என்னும் மந்திரத்தைச் சொல்லும்.

  If one mentally joins, with the breath moving in the outer air, the mantra Om namasivaya, formed of Om, which holds the letters a and u, together with namasivaya, where si stands at the centre,

  வகாரமோ டாறும் வளியுடன் கூடிச் என்பது, 'வ' முதலாக இருக்கும் 'வசியநம' சேர்த்து 'ஓம் வசியநம' என்னும் மந்திரத்தை வெளியில் இருக்கும் காற்றோடு மானசீகமாகச் செபிப்பதைச் சொல்லும்.

  and also the mantra Om vasiyanama, formed by adding the letters vasiyanama that begin with va,

  சிகார முடனே சிவன்சிந்தை செய்ய என்பது, 'சி' முதலாக இருக்கும் 'சிவயநம' சேர்த்து 'ஓம் சிவயநம' என்னும் மந்திரத்தை இறைவன் மேல் சிந்தனை வைத்துச் செபிப்பதைச் சொல்லும்.

  and also the mantra Om sivayanama, formed by adding the letters sivayanama that begin with si, all the while keeping one's thought fixed on Shiva,

  ஒகார முதல்வன் உவந்துநின் றானே என்பது, இப்படிச் செபித்தால் ஓங்காரத்தின் முதல்வனாகிய இறைவன் சாதகருக்குள் அன்போடு எழுந்தருளுவதைச் சொல்லும்.
