'ஓம்' என்னும் பிரணவ மந்திரம் அனைத்து உயிர்களுக்குள்ளும் இயங்கிக்கொண்டே இருக்கிறது. எதையும் கொடுக்கும் வல்லமை கொண்ட இந்த மந்திரத்தை முறைப்படி குருவிடமிருந்து உபதேசமாகப் பெற்று, பகைவர்கள் போலத் தம்மைச் சூழ்ந்திருக்கும் வினையால் உண்டாகும் இன்ப துன்பங்கள் அனைத்தும் நீங்கும்படி அந்தப் பிரணவ மந்திரத்தை ஓயாமல் உச்சரித்துக்கொண்டே இருக்க வேண்டும்.
