  அண்ணல் இருப்ப தவளக் கரத்துளே,

  The Lord resides within her hand,

• வரி 2Line 2

  பெண்ணிநல் லாளும் பிரானக் கரத்துளே,

  and she, the good woman, resides within the Lord's hand,

• வரி 3Line 3

  எண்ணி இருவர் இசைந்தங் கிருந்திடப்,

  the two of them, counted as one, dwelling there joined together,

• வரி 4Line 4

  புண்ணிய வாளர் பொருளறி வார்களே.

  and only those of merit come to know this truth.
