  அடைவினில் ஐம்பதும் ஐஐந்து அறையின்,

  Fifty letters in order, across twenty-five rooms,

• வரி 2Line 2

  அடையும் அறையொன்றுக்கு ஈரெழுத்து ஆக்கி,

  two letters settling in each room,

• வரி 3Line 3

  அடையும் மகாரத்தில் அந்தமாம் க்ஷவ்வும்,

  and the letter ksha (க்ஷ) closing at the end after the last makaram,

• வரி 4Line 4

  அடைவின் எழுத்துஐம் பத்தொன்றும் அமர்ந்ததே.

  so the letters arranged in order come to fifty-one in all.
