ஒன்றிரண்டு ஆடவோர் ஒன்றும் உடனாடஒன்றிரண்டு மூன்றாட ஓரேழும் ஒத்தாடஒன்றினில் ஆடவோர் ஒன்பதும் உடனாடமன்றினில் ஆடனான் மாணிக்கக் கூத்தே.
உரைmeaning
அசையா சக்தியாக இருக்கும் இறைவன், அசையும் சக்தியோடு சிவசக்தியாக ஆடுகின்ற போது, அவரோடு சேர்ந்து அண்டசராசரங்கள் அனைத்தும் ஆடுகின்றன என்று இப்பாடல் கூறுகிறது. ஒன்றில் இரண்டு ஆட, ஒன்று உடன் ஆட; ஒன்றில் மூன்று ஆட, ஏழும் ஒத்து ஆட; ஒன்றில் ஒன்பதும் உடன் ஆட - இவ்வாறு எண்ணிக்கைகள் மாறி மாறி இணைந்து ஆடும் அந்த ஆட்டமே, மன்றத்தில் இறைவன் ஆடிய மாணிக்கக் கூத்து ஆகும்.
The verse says that when God, who is the unmoving power, dances as Sivasakti joined with the moving power, all the worlds dance together with him. One dances with two, one dances along; one dances with three, seven dance in accord; one dances along with nine as well. Dancing thus, turning and joining through these numbers, that very dance is the ruby dance that God danced in the assembly hall.
