  இறைவன் தாம் ஒருவனாகவே ஆடுகின்ற திருநடனங்கள் இரண்டு வகையாகும்; முதலாவது அனைத்தையும் உருவாக்குகின்ற அழகிய ஆனந்த நடனம்.

  The Lord alone performs two kinds of sacred dance; the first is the beautiful dance of bliss that creates everything.

  இரண்டாவது அனைத்தையும் அழிக்கின்ற ருத்ர தாண்டவ கூத்தாகும்.

  The second is the Rudra Tandava that destroys everything.

  இந்த இரு நடனங்களையும் மகிழ்ச்சியோ துன்பமோ இன்றிச் சமமாகக் காணச் செய்யும் ஓங்கார மந்திரத்தை உணர்ந்து, சிவலிங்கத் தத்துவம் தமக்குள்ளும் இருக்கின்றது என்பதை உணர்தல் வேண்டும்.

  One realizes the Omkara mantra that lets one view both these dances equally, without joy or sorrow, and realizes that the Sivalingam tattva, the form of both dances, exists within oneself too.

  அவ்வாறு உணர்ந்த சாதகர்களுக்குச் செம்பு போன்ற கடினமான உடல் பொன் போல் ஜொலிக்கின்ற ஒளி உடம்பாகும் என இப்பாடல் கூறுகிறது.

  The verse says that for practitioners who realize this, the body, hard like copper, becomes a shining body of light like gold.
