உரைmeaning
தேவாதி தேவர்களுக்கெல்லாம் தலைவனான இறைவன் தங்கியிருக்கும் இடமே சிற்றம்பலம் என்றும், சிதம்பரம் என்றும், திரு அம்பலம் என்றும், தென்நாடு என்றும் போற்றப்படுகின்றது. அந்தத் தென்நாட்டில் வீற்றிருக்கும் இறை சக்தி உலகத்திலுள்ள அனைவருக்கும் பொதுவானது ஆகும்.
The place where the Lord, chief of all the gods, dwells is honoured under many names: Chitrambalam, Chidambaram, Thiruvambalam and the southern land. The divine power enthroned there in the southern land belongs in common to everyone in the world.
