As in verse 1243, the Lord who is the Supreme Being, dwelling as light within every life, sustains the moving and unmoving universe, and is himself all the worlds and all things within it. Even in the time of the great cosmic dissolution when all things perish, he alone stands forever unperishing. The Goddess, bearing a green parrot in her sacred hand, with her curling hair of great beauty, joins with him even then as the exact, equal half fitting his exalted state, and in that state of being joined together, she is Parasakti. Worship and venerate these two, who are joined together as one.
