As in verse 1215, this verse declares that the Goddess, who is time in all its forms, is the one who brings the thoughts of souls, and the desires that come from them, to fruit according to each soul's state of karma. She is the one who has granted the seeker the nature of remaining forever united with her, never parting. This same Goddess is Malini, sister of Vishnu, also known as Parvati; supreme above all; the power of mantras; Chandika, who strikes down and drives away evil powers like a storm; the one who bestows grace; and the equal half of the Lord who bestows grace.
