பாடல் #1149 இல் உள்ளபடி, அண்ட சராசரங்களையும் அவற்றிலுள்ள அனைத்து உயிர்களையும் படைக்கும் வல்லமை பெற்றவளும், உலகங்கள் அனைத்திற்கும் அதிபதியாக இருப்பவளும், யான் போற்றி வணங்குபவளும், அரிய தவங்களைச் செய்பவர்களுக்கு மட்டுமே கிடைக்கும் என்றும் இளமை ஆற்றலுடன் இருப்பவளுமான இறைவி, தன்னைப் போற்றி வணங்கும் உயிர்களின் ஆற்றலுக்குள் வந்து வீற்றிருந்து, அவர்களின் நெற்றிக்குள் அழகிய ஆபரணங்களைச் சூடிக்கொண்டு வீற்றிருந்து, அவர்களின் அகங்காரத்தை அடக்கிவிட்டு, பசுமையான கொடியாக இருந்துகொண்டு, அவர்களுடைய கூற்றத்தை (இறப்பை) துரத்திவிட்டு ஆட்கொள்கிறாள் என இப்பாடல் உரைக்கிறது.
As in verse 1149, this verse declares that the goddess, who has the power to create the universe with all its moving and unmoving things and every life within it, who is the sovereign over all the worlds, whom I praise and worship, and who forever holds the strength of unfading youth granted only to those who perform rare austerities, comes and dwells within the strength of the lives that praise and worship her, dwells adorned with beautiful ornaments upon their foreheads, subdues their pride of self, and, remaining as a green vine, drives away Yama, the lord of death, from them and takes them as her own.
