  உயிர்கள் உலகத்தில் பிறவி எடுக்கத் தாயின் வயிற்றுக்குள் கருவாக உருவாகும்போதே, அதனுடன் இறைவனின் சுத்த மாயையானது ஒளி அம்சமாகவும், இறைவியின் மாயை இருள் அம்சமாகவும் வந்துவிடுகின்றது.

  The moment lives form as an embryo within the mother''s womb to take birth in this world, the Lord''s pure maya comes along with them as its aspect of light, and the Goddess''s maya comes along as its aspect of darkness.

  இறைவியானவள் பிறவி எடுத்து வரும் பிள்ளையின் சித்தம், மனம், புத்தி ஆகிய மூன்றிலும், இறைவனைத் தெரிந்து கொள்ள முடியாதபடி மாயையால் மறைத்து வைத்திருக்கின்றாள்.

  The Goddess conceals, through maya, in all three of the child''s citta, mind and intellect, so that the child taking birth cannot come to know the Lord.

  ஆதலால், இறைவனைத் தெரிந்து கொண்டு அவனை அடைய வேண்டும் என்று விரும்பும் சாதகர்கள் முதலில் இறைவியை எண்ணத்தில் வைத்துச் சாதகம் செய்தால்,

  Therefore, if seekers who wish to know and attain the Lord first hold the Goddess in their thought and practise sadhana,

  அவள் கருணையோடு இருளான மாயையை நீக்கி ஒளியான இறைவனைக் காட்டி அருளுவாள்.

  she compassionately removes the dark maya and graciously reveals to them the Lord who is light.
