Foolish people squander away, without thinking of him, in pointless talk, the birth that was given for realizing and attaining the Lord. These people never come to know the primal Goddess who grants liberation to devotees who seek her out and undertake sadhana. But before devotees who strive and undertake sadhana to reach her, she comes forward and grants her grace, with wisdom-eyes that watch over them always with compassion, like the fish that are said to hatch their eggs simply by gazing at them, with reddened lips that call them again and again to come and join her, and with a sacred face that casts a compassionate gaze upon them.
