இங்கு குறிப்பிடப்படும் நவகுண்டம் அறுகோண வடிவுடையது; இது உடலுக்குள் இருக்கும் ஆறு சக்கரங்களைக் குறிக்கிறது. நவகுண்ட யோகத்தில் சக்கரங்களை வட்டமாகச் சுற்றி பிரணவம் முப்பத்தாறு தத்துவங்களுடன் கலந்து எழுகிறது. அண்டத்திலும் இதே முப்பத்தாறு தத்துவங்கள் இருப்பதைத் தமக்குள் கண்டு உணரலாம். மனத்தளவில் நவகுண்ட யாகம் செய்வதன் மூலம், அண்டத்திலுள்ள அந்த முப்பத்தாறு தத்துவங்களையும் நம் உடலுக்குள்ளும் கண்டு உணரலாம் என இப்பாடல் அறிவிக்கிறது.
The nine pits spoken of here have a hexagonal form; this denotes the six chakras within the body. In the yoga of the nine pits, the pranava rises circling the chakras in a ring, mingled with thirty six principles. One can come to see and realize within oneself that these same thirty six principles exist in the cosmos too. This verse declares that by performing the nine-pit yagna in the mind, those same thirty six principles of the cosmos can be seen and realized within one's own body as well.
