  அறிவினால் அரிதாக அடையக்கூடிய ஞானத்தை யாரும் அறிந்துகொள்வதில்லை.

  No one comes to know the wisdom that is hard to attain through knowledge.

• வரி 2Line 2

  பூசை, வழிபாடு, மந்திரம், யந்திரம் என்று தத்தம் புலன்கள் காட்டும் வழியிலேயே சென்று,

  Going only along the path shown by their own senses, as puja, worship, mantra and yantra,

• வரி 3Line 3

  இறைவனைத் தேடியும் கிடைக்கவில்லை என்று புலம்புகின்றனர்.

  and seeking God there, they lament at not finding him.

• வரி 4Line 4

  ஆனால் தமக்குள்ளேயே முறைப்படி அர்ச்சனை செய்து பார்த்தால், அங்கே ஒளிவீசும் மாணிக்கம் போல இருக்கும் இறைவனைக் காணலாம்.

  But if one turns and worships properly within oneself, one can behold God there, shining like a radiant gem.
