பன்னிரண்டு கலைகள் கொண்ட சூரியக்கலை பெண் கலையாகும்; பதினாறு கலைகள் கொண்ட சந்திரக்கலை ஆண் கலையாகும். இரண்டு கலைகளையும் பயிற்சியால் ஒருநிலைப்படுத்தி, நேராகத் தோன்றும் நெருப்புள் சேர்த்தால், அங்கு தெவிட்டாத ஆனந்தம் ஆனந்தமாகவே கிடைக்கும்.
The sun-kalai of twelve digits is the female kalai; the moon-kalai of sixteen digits is the male kalai. If both kalai are, through practice, brought to a single steady state and joined within the fire that rightly appears, then bliss that never surfeits comes as bliss itself.
