  சந்திரனிலிருந்து வரும் கதிர்கள் பதினாறு; அதுபோல அந்த இடத்திலிருந்து வரும் கதிர்களும் பதினாறாய் இருந்தும்,

  The rays that come from the moon are sixteen; likewise, the rays that come from that place are also sixteen,

  உடலின் அந்தந்த இடங்களின் அதிபதியாய் இருநூற்றி இருபத்து நான்கு கதிர்களாய் இருந்தும்,

  and, as the ruler over each of the body's own places, two hundred and twenty four rays,

  இயங்கும் இல்லமாகிய உடம்பினுள் வினைகளாகிய பகைவர்களை அவ்யோகியர் எதிர்சென்று போர் புரியாதவாறு,

  within the body, that dwelling in motion, so that the yogi need not go forth and do battle with the foes that are his own deeds,

  தனது அருளாற்றலாகிய கணைகளைப் பொழிந்துகொண்டு இருக்கின்றான் என்கிறது பாடல்.
