  மேல் அண்ணாக்கினிடத்தில் விரைந்து இரண்டையும் இணைத்தால்,

  If, at the upper palate, the two are swiftly joined together,

• வரி 2Line 2

  யமன் என்னும் பயம் இல்லை; உடலுக்கு அழிவும் இராது; மேலுலகத்து வாயில் கதவு திறந்திடும்.

  there is no fear of Yama, and no destruction for the body; the door of the world above opens.

  உலகம் அறியும்படி நரையும் திரையும் மாறி, யோகி இளமைத் தோற்றம் உடையவனாவான்.

  Graying hair and wrinkling reverse, so that the world can see it, and the yogi comes to have the appearance of youth.

  இது குருவான இறைவன் மேல் ஆணையாகச் சொல்லும் உண்மை என்கிறது பாடல்.

  This, the verse says, is a truth spoken on oath by the Lord who is guru.
