• வரி 1Line 1

  உடலின் வெளியே சென்று அழிகின்ற மூச்சுக்காற்றைக் கவனித்து நோக்கினால்,

  If one observes the breath that goes out of the body and perishes,

• வரி 2Line 2

  உண்ணாக்கில் அமிர்தம் சுரந்து நன்மை செய்யும்.

  nectar wells up on the palate and does good.

• வரி 3Line 3

  தலை உச்சிக்கும் மேல் இருக்கும் ஞானம் கைகூடும்.

  Wisdom that lies above the crown of the head is attained.

• வரி 4Line 4

  அந்த ஞானம் கைகூடினால், உலகின் தலைவனான சிவனாய்த் தாம் இருப்பதை உணரலாம்.

  And once that wisdom is attained, one may realize that one is Shiva, the lord of the world.
